What first started out as a way to give back to his community, Grilling Sensations founder, Todd Fenwick, found a passion and aptitude for grilling and has served countless on-site catering events including: corporate, athletic competitions, banquets, private parties (graduations, receptions, retirements, birthday celebrations), and non-profit agencies fund-raisers.

We are passionate about our barbeque combining a special blend of spices and method of grilling to bring out the great flavor known as Santa Maria style tri-tip.

What is Santa Maria style tri-tip?  A tri-tip is designed for grilling, cut from the tri-tip roast (sirloin area) in a triangular shape with excellent marbling and very tender when cooked properly.  Santa Maria style tip-tip has matured beyond what many people know as Santa Maria style barbeque, a tradition dating back to California's early history when beef was the mainstay of the agricultural economy.  Large cattle roundups were not complete without a celebration and a large barbeque made beef the centerpiece of the event.

The perfection of the Santa Maria style tri-tip & chicken caused Grilling Sensations to expand their barbeque offerings to slow roasted ribs, seafood, assorted steaks, lamb, killer burgers, kabobs, and the occasional "let's experiment".

While many people believe that the Santa Maria style tri-tip is the centerpiece of the grilled meal, others would debate that without the bread, how would all the wonderful juices be consumed?  Grilling Sensations' garlic bread goes beyond culinary excellence - barbeque grilled with plenty of butter and garlic (and secrets) that cause your guests to linger around our grill for just one more slice. 

Our on-site catering brings the grill to the party with many people watching the show of our grillmaster.  Why on-site catering?  An open fire has captivated generations: the telling of family stories, the celebration of the hunt, the camp fires of friendships - old and new.  People love to congregate, chat, ask questions of our grillmasters, inhale the aromas, and maybe capture a little sample of the future meal.  On-site catering comes to the party ready for the unexpected with professional staff and service.  Our barbeque staff will leave your location in an organized and clean environment ready for the next event.  While on-site catering does require some logistical planning for our equipment, all information will be provided prior to your event to ensure that your event goes off without a hitch.

Why stop at lunch or dinner on the barbeque?  Have you had a  grilled breakfast?  Grilling Sensations provides a wonderful start to your day.  A griddle passed down through generations produces hearty meals to kick-start a beautiful day.  The barbeque may include "stick to your ribs" biscuits and gravy, assorted potatoes, various meats, design your own omelet, and fruit.
